Matches solutions to organizations based on compliance, cybersecurity, and infrastructure management needs. Guides customers through cost and timeline considerations for achieving CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification) L2 compliance through the implementation of IA-PRE, NIST 800-171, and NIST 800-53, for handling CUI, ITAR, EAR, and more.

Designed and implemented scalable, secure, and highly available solutions on the Azure platform. Aided clients in understanding business needs and goals, designed Azure-based solutions that meet those needs, and ensured compliance with industry standards and best practices. Supplied guidance and training to clients on the use and management of their Azure-based solutions.


Cloud Architect 2022

Architected, implemented, and monitored resilient and shielded Azure solutions. Configured and managed Microsoft Endpoint Manager features such as Device Restrictions, Compliance policies, and shadow IT (Information Technology) prevention best practices across multiple companies. Implemented networking solutions to connect companies to their cloud environments from on-prem and remote resources using P2S and S2S VPNs (Virtual Private Networks).


Senior Cloud Engineer 2021

Designed and implemented Azure application proxy to modernize legacy apps using modern authentication methods in the cloud. Architected Azure functions for alerting and monitoring of various cloud functions. Implemented Azure Sentinel and Tenable cloud SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) for advanced monitoring and threat hunting capabilities for DIB companies. Created retention and labeling policies to protect and correctly label data. Created scalable web app services to support DoD code/applications. Assisted DIB companies with CMMC policies and procedures.

Administered the Azure network/server environment daily. Configured and maintained Intune policy for MDM (Mobile Device Management). Implemented FortiManager Cloud to monitor 32 network location firewalls and created Microsoft Teams QOS PowerBI to track and remediate network performance issues. Planned and implemented Microsoft Teams, Azure functions, server patching, and new application and equipment installation. Implemented cloud Microsoft Defender ATP to optimize endpoint security and patches with cloud app security. Created Power Automate workflows to improve organizational efficiency. Oversaw the implementation of ERP systems, warehouse management system inventory systems, marketing team operations, ad committee operations, various technical and non-technical project management, and e-commerce website redesign. Identified and implemented a new VOIP system. Supplied strategic account management and outsourced the information system to an MSP (Managed Service Providers). Defined business processes for customer support, identified and implemented Zendesk CRM (Customer Relationship Management), and managed vendor relationships. Used project plans to drive employee productivity and efficiency. Created a VDI endpoint solution to reduce new hire cost by 58%. Implemented security measures to enhance environmental security.

Jack’s Tech Solutions

Owner/Operator 2014-2016

Forged relationships with new businesses in the retail and manufacturing industries. Created customer satisfaction KPI's to enable the team to maintain and improve existing customer satisfaction. Worked with large manufacturing clients to supply support and create technical solutions to increase the reliability of their infrastructure while enabling enhanced productivity and efficiency across the organization. Managed to keep a 1-hour support SLA with all clients. Provided IT process reviews to companies across their IT, marketing, and business operations teams to ensure efficiency and data resiliency.

Granbury Solutions

Linux Support Engineer 2013-2016

Created a more stable Linux server environment by reducing upgrade errors through improving scripts and rewriting scripts to handle these installs remotely with error/success logging and reporting. Worked with the LAMP solutions team to solve problems with code and other general LAMP issues. Managed to create remote upgrade scripts that reduced the time required by implementation agents when enabling new product features developed by the in-house developer team. One such script cut a 2-hour software add-on integration and setup process down to 8 minutes with a single prompt and reduced errors in the deployment by 60%.
